At Bradpole Preschool we have eight permanent members of staff including a part-time Office Administrator.  Staff attend weekly training meetings and regular training courses.

Sally Parmiter

Preschool Leader

Sally is one of our Joint Preschool Leaders and has worked in the setting for nearly 30 years. She holds a Level 4 qualification in Childcare and Education and is the Special Educational Needs and Disability Co-ordinator (SENCO). Sally also serves as our Deputy Safeguarding Lead.

Sally lives in Beaminster and has three grown-up children and four grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, gardening, cooking, and walking.

Nikki Moss

Preschool Leader

Nikki is one of our joint Preschool Leaders and has been part of the preschool team for nearly 20 years. She also serves as our Safeguarding Lead, Forest School Lead, and Deputy SENCO. Nikki holds an NVQ Level 3 in Child Care and Education, a Level 3 qualification in Safeguarding, and a Level 3 Forest School Training qualification.

Nikki is enthusiastic, caring, and enjoys leading practical and creative activities with the children.

She lives in Bridport with her husband and has two grown-up sons. In her spare time, Nikki enjoys cooking and sewing.

Ellie Webb

Preschool Deputy Lead

Ellie joined us in September 2021 as an apprentice. She achieved her Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications as an Early Years Educator and is currently studying for a degree in Early Years and Childcare.

Ellie lives locally and attended The Sir John Colfox Academy. She enjoys walking her dog, camping holidays, and spending time with her family.

Jemma Battrick

Preschool Deputy Lead

Jemma joined us in April 2021, she holds a NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and Education.  Jemma has a warm and bubbly personality the children really respond to.

She was born in Bridport, and still lives here with her Partner and two young children.  Jemma loves animals, family walks and cooking in her spare time.

Lisa Hunt

Preschool Practitioner

Lisa is a long serving member of our staff, with a NVQ Level 3 in Childcare. She is a very experienced Preschool Practitioner, with a calm and gentle approach.

She was born in Bridport and as lived here all her life. She has a grown-up daughter. Lisa enjoys gardening, bread making and sea swimming in her spare time.

Laura Washington

Preschool Practitioner.

Laura joined us in September 2023 and has a NVQ level 3 in Childcare and Education. She has experience working closely with children with additional needs, and has a calm and patient demeaner.

Laura lives in Bridport with her husband and two children. In her free time Laura enjoys walking, holidays, Formula One and spending time with her family

Sarah Hopkins

Preschool Practitioner

Sarah joined us in October 2024 and is working on a NVQ level 2 in Childcare and Education. Sarah is passionate about childcare and the children really enjoy her company.

Sarah has lived in Bridport her whole life, she lives with her husband and young son. In her free time Sarah enjoys baking and spending time with her family.
